Who are these crazy dancing characters in the CC Muziekcafé logo? Kokopelli, the spirit of music, was carved into Southwestern American cliffs over 3,000 years ago. Today his spirit is alive as ever.
He is a god of fertility, a prankster, magician, storyteller, teacher, healer, trickster, trader, god of the harvest. He changes winter to spring with his beautiful flute music.
Two kokopellis dance and play music together in the logo's C's to represent the community of musicians coming together at CC Muziekcafé. Their creativity and fertility bring the music alive in all of us.
